Qualified veterinary surgeon / veterinary inspector
Qualified veterinary surgeon / veterinary inspector required for beef boning hall in Ireland, to ensure processing plant comply with all relevant standards during food production (hygiene rules, legislative requirements from Regulation 852/2004; 853/2004; 178/2002, technical and beef quality issues).
If you have experience in HACCPdesign and maintenance and want to join our team as a Quality / Technical manager this opportunity is for you.
Knowledge of other standards (BRC) and an interest in beef factory management would be a huge advantage.
We provide full training and assistance of Polish veterinary specialist.
You will be working approximately 40 hours a week.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality management procedures and systems for both quality control and assurance.
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards, legal requirements and codes of practice.
- Inspecting and sampling the entire manufacturing process, processing environment, raw materials and finished product.
- Providing training programmes to ensure that employees are trained in and compliant with all relevant standards.
- Liaising with the regulatory authority and managing all regulatory and customer audits & inspections as required.
- Managing all customer specifications and quality/technical requirements.
The Ideal candidate:
- Good communication skills.

- The ability to deal with various tasks in an effective and timely manner.
- The ability to deal with people (employees, customers, suppliers).
- Reliable and honest.
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel as a minimum).

Small Animal Vet - Cornwall, UK
We are a central hospital and two branch dedicated small animal practice. You will be working in a modern clinic with a strong emphasis on supporting all our staff to ensure we enjoy our work and deliver clinical excellence. You will work alongside a team of experienced and supportive vets and nurses, with varied case load and very interesting cases. We have three certificate holders in surgery, ophthalmology and cardiology and plan to expand our referral service.

Our Hospital in Falmouth will be your main base, and you will also to do clinics and minor procedures in our branch in Helston.
The ophthalmology service is well equipped with Zeiss operating microscope for microsurgical and intraocular procedures, Vizual AOI Phacoemulsification and Retiport ERG and supported by a team of experienced nurses.
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced ophthalmologist of advanced practitioner standard or above to apply for this position, however if you are well established in a training programme you would be considered; and support for further development will be given.
